Are you an enthusiastic and innovative Media Teacher with a passion for developing young creators? An exciting opportunity has become available for a skilled educator to join one of our excellent secondary schools in Guisborough. This long‑term supply role begins in January 2025 and continues through to June 2025, offering a fantastic chance to make a real impact on students' media learning and digital skills.

The Role

As a Media Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging, high‑quality lessons that build confidence, creativity, and critical thinking. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering inspiring Media Studies lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Guiding students in the development of practical and theoretical media skills, such as film production, editing, photography, and analysis
  • Assessing and tracking students' progress, providing meaningful feedback to support their growth
  • Creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where all learners feel motivated and valued
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop fresh ideas, resources, and opportunities for creative media projects
Requirements
