1to1 Group are looking for a Media Instructor for our client in Winchester. We are looking for someone to work under the direction of teaching staff to act as an instructor to students to facilitate teaching and learning. This is part-time temporary until the end of the year (19th of December).

Role Details
  • Location: Winchester.
  • Hourly pay: £14.84 – £16.69 per hour (dependant on experience).
  • Temporary until the 19th of December.
  • Part‑time, 8:30 am‑4:40 pm Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Job Description
  • Deliver a training programme for A level Media Studies coursework and Film Studies.
  • Support the Head of Subject in planning student training programmes.
  • Instruct groups/whole classes of students in practical sessions, with the support of the teacher.
  • Provide one‑to‑one support in students’ study periods.
  • Demonstrate a range of practical and industry techniques and processes to students.
  • Create student guides for equipment.
  • Operate and maintain studios and equipment, including monitoring of student use and organising access.
  • Maintain and develop Google Sites for both Media and Film Studies, including the production of digital content.
  • Possess high‑level practical filmmaking and print design skills and a strong understanding of equipment/software such as Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects and Audition.
  • Ability to solve/fix technical problems.
  • Work in a team across several different subjects (Film and Media).
  • Experience with the operation and maintenance of a studio environment.
  • DBS on the update service required.
