Thames Water in Ashford Common is seeking a Mechanical Engineer/Technician to maintain and repair mechanical plant across water production and transfer processes. You will work on pumps, dosing pumps, and identify faults, carrying out planned maintenance and repairs to minimise customer impact.

The role requires a time-served apprenticeship or NVQ/C&G level 3 in mechanical engineering, driving licence, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualificações

• Time-served apprenticeship or NVQ/C&G level 3 in mechanical engineering.
• Ability to fault find and repair mechanical plant and systems.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and repair pumps and mechanical equipment across water production and transfer networks.
• Investigate faults and carry out repairs to minimise downtime and service interruption.
• Perform planned maintenance in accordance with company standards and procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and training to colleagues when required.
