Job summary

A leading M&E Contractor seeks an experienced Mechanical Site Manager for a new commercial project in SE London. The ideal candidate must have a background in Pipefitting and experience overseeing large Shell & Core CAT A projects. Responsibilities include managing mechanical issues on site, coordinating with teams, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Qualifications include City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Services, CSCS, and SSSTS/SMSTS certifications. Strong planning and people management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working with a Tier 1 M&E Contractor on large Shell & Core CAT A commercial projects.
• Come from a Pipefitting background with experience overseeing plantroom packages.
• Good literacy skills required.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with colleagues and supervisors regarding timeframe and labour requirements.
• Respond to mechanical issues as they occur.
• Oversee direct labour or mechanical subcontractors.
• Complete mechanical site safety audits and paperwork.
