An excellent opportunity for a mechanical engineer looking for a role within manufacturing offering Mon‑Fri working hours. This is a great chance to work for an established manufacturer in a factory‑based role where you will take a leading role within the engineering team. The role is for a reputable manufacturer that holds a leading name within its industry. They are looking for someone to work in a senior engineering role where you will take the lead on planned and reactive maintenance across all machinery and equipment on site. Whilst the day to day work is mainly mechanical, it would be beneficial if you also have some electrical engineering experience to support.

The Role:
  • Lead planned and reactive maintenance across site machinery and equipment.
  • Coordinate and support site engineering improvement projects.
  • Mon‑Fri 2 shift system (6am‑2pm and 2pm‑10pm).
The Candidate:
  • Mechanical engineering background.
  • Ideally some experience within manufacturing/forces/industrial engineering.
  • Electrical experience is preferential.
