Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Birmingham

Salary: £50,000 per annum with an option for a 4 on/4 off shift pattern (or 4 on/4 off days and nights) at £52,000.

Experience Required
  • Qualified to Level 3 (NVQ/C&G) or have completed an apprenticeship in a mechanical discipline.
  • Advantageous if the experience is through the military (ex‑forces).
  • At least 4 years of experience maintaining or repairing special purpose machinery – heavy industry experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Mechanically competent with knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, straps, belts, chains, etc.
  • From manufacturing or ex‑forces industries such as FMCG, food, plastic, packaging, pharmaceuticals, foundry, brick, distribution, automotive, metals, RAF, navy, army, or other military organisations.
