Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd in Peterborough is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a manufacturing environment. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a static site within an FM service provider setting.

The role offers up to £35,000 plus a competitive package, with overtime, training, and strong career progression opportunities. Hours are Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00, with 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays and a company pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Mechanically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2.
• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates.
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
• Multi-skilled and adaptable.
• Good communication skills with client-facing ability.

Responsibilities

• Monitor mechanical plant.
• Plumbing work (Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc).
• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings.
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning).
• Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing).
• Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc).
• General building fabric.

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider - Manufacturing Environment – Peterborough – Up to £35,000 + Package
An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based in Peterborough has arisen! CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting a multi-skilled Mechanical Engineer based in a manufacturing environment. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across this static site.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £35,000, overtime, further training and a potential route into further career progression.
