Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a Junior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a manufacturing site in Peterborough. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance across a static site, with a focus on mechanical plant and building services.

The package includes a basic salary up to £30,000, overtime, and progression opportunities. Candidates should be mechanically qualified (City & Guilds Level 2) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must have City & Guilds Level 2 in mechanical maintenance.
• Experience in commercial/building maintenance preferred.
• Must provide copies of trade certificates.
• Able to work on a static site in manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor mechanical plant
• Plumbing work (Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc)
• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
• Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc)
• General building fabric
• Escort specialist subcontractors

Junior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - FM Service Provider - Manufacturing Environment - Peterborough - Up to £30,000 + Package

An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based in Peterborough has arisen! CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting a junior Mechanical Engineer based in a manufacturing environment.He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across this static site.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in building maintenance.In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £30,000, overtime, further training and a potential route into further career progression.
