Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd in Peterborough is seeking a Maintenance Plumber to join a facilities team within a manufacturing environment. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance on a static site and requires a solid understanding of facilities maintenance and a proven track record in building maintenance.

The successful candidate will benefit from a competitive package including salary up to £35,000, overtime, and clear progression toward a mechanical engineering role.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 2 plumbing qualification or equivalent.
• Ability to provide copies of trade certificates.
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance and multi-skilling.

Responsibilities

• Monitor mechanical plant
• Carry out plumbing work such as unblocking toilets, replacing taps and washers
• Maintain pumps, motors, seals and bearings
• Air conditioning care: AHU/FCU filter changes and cleaning
• Water treatment: temperature checks and not dosing
• Basic electrical tasks: lamp changes
• General building fabric maintenance
• Escort specialist subcontractors

Maintenance Plumber – FM Service Provider - Manufacturing Environment – Peterborough – Up to £35,000 + Package

An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based in Peterborough has arisen!

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting a multi-skilled Maintenance Plumber based in a manufacturing environment. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across this static site.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £35,000, overtime, and progression to become a fully‑fledged mechanical engineer

Hours of work

• Monday- Friday 08:00-17:00

Key duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor mechanical plant
• Plumbing work (Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc)
• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
• Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc)
• General building fabric
• Escort specialist subcontractors

Requirements

• Mechanically or Plumbing qualified - City & Guilds Level 2
• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
