Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd in Peterborough is recruiting a Maintenance Plumber for a manufacturing environment on a static site. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance across site facilities, with a focus on plumbing, pumps, air handling and water treatment.

You should hold City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing, have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance, and be client-facing with good communication.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing qualification.
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
• Multi-skilled with plumbing and mechanical understanding.
• Good communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor mechanical plant.
• Plumbing work (unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers).
• Pumps, motors, seals, bearings.
• Air handling units / FCU maintenance and filter changes.
• Water treatment (temperature checks).
• Basic electrical duties (lamp changes).
• General building fabric.
• Escort specialist subcontractors.

Maintenance Plumber – FM Service Provider - Manufacturing Environment – Peterborough – Up to £35,000 + Package

An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based in Peterborough has arisen!

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting a multi-skilled Maintenance Plumber based in a manufacturing environment. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across this static site.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £35,000, overtime, and progression to become a fully‑fledged mechanical engineer

Hours of work

• Monday- Friday 08:00-17:00

Key duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor mechanical plant
• Plumbing work (Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc)
• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
• Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc)
• General building fabric
• Escort specialist subcontractors

Requirements

• Mechanically or Plumbing qualified - City & Guilds Level 2
• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
• Multi-skilled
• Good communication skills
