A construction company in Manchester is seeking two operatives for rail installation works. Responsibilities include drilling and vacuuming floor surfaces, positioning rails according to the client's specifications, and securely bolting them to the concrete floor. Candidates must have a valid CSCS card, their own tools, and PPE. Experience in concrete drilling and floor rail installation is preferred. The job is set to commence on December 15 and is expected to last 4-5 days, depending on site conditions.
The works involve the installation of 320 rails (160 sets) using 1,280 M8 x 95 concrete floor bolts (four per rail). All fixings will be provided by the client, along with a drilling template for accurate pre-marking of the floor.
The job requires two operatives who will be responsible for drilling and vacuuming the floor surfaces, positioning the rails to the client’s specification, and bolting them securely to the concrete floor. The expected duration is 4–5 days, depending on site conditions.
The start 15th December, lasting up until Christmas break
Rates are negotiable, depending on final scope and experience.
All works must be carried out in accordance with site safety procedures and any required permits. Any variations or unforeseen issues should be reported to the client immediately.
