Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer in Ellesmere Port to maintain and repair various industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience, a strong knowledge of engineering drawings, and the ability to perform MIG and TIG welding. Immediate starts available after successful registration and interview.

Job description

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Mechanical Engineers on behalf of our client based in Ellesmere Port.

The job includes the following:

• Responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide range of industrial equipment including conveyors, motors, control panels, vibratory systems and others
• Perform proactive and reactive maintenance across the site
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and contribute to continuous improvement
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and senior team members
• Conduct MIG and TIG welding and fabrication tasks
• Other general warehouse duties when required

Key Requirements:

• Proven 5 years or more experience in the industry
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Good understanding of engineering drawings and able to fabricate from it
• Comprehensive knowledge in both electrical and mechanical practices

The working hours are 4 off, 4 on, 6-6, days and nights.
