Job summary

Thames Water in Witney (OX28) is seeking a experienced Mechanical / Electrical Dual Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team. You will maintain electrical and mechanical assets across the Cotswolds sites, using proactive and reactive techniques to ensure safe, efficient operation and high plant reliability.

We offer learning and development across engineering disciplines, a 38-hour week, on-call rota with additional pay, and a comprehensive benefits package including holiday,

Qualifications

• Time-served apprenticeship in engineering.
• NVQ level 3 or higher in mechanical and/or electrical engineering.
• BS7671 or 18th Edition electrical wiring regulations qualification.
• Experience with 3-phase electrical systems.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Proactively and reactively maintain mechanical and electrical assets across the Cotswolds sites.
• Investigate plant faults and carry out repairs quickly to avoid process interruptions.
• Carry out service and replacement of pumps, motors, control gear and SCADA components.
• Support planned and breakdown maintenance on electromechanical wastewater assets.
• Interpret and update technical drawings and provide feedback on work performed.
