A leading engineering company in Milton Keynes is seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the mechanical design and testing of innovative ideas, contributing to product development from concept to production. Must have solid experience in mechanical engineering, excellent Solidworks skills, and knowledge of various manufacturing processes. This position offers the opportunity to work on custom projects and supports ongoing product development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience of developing new products from concept to production.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes including plastic moulding, CNC machining, casting, and sheet metal forming.

Responsibilities

• Develop concept designs to pre-production release.
• Support the transition of new products from development to manufacturing.
• Conduct analysis and simulations to validate design feasibility and performance.
