A medical technology firm in Cambridge seeks an engineer to ensure robust designs for automated manufacturing systems. Candidates should have industrial experience in product delivery and be skilled in analytical design techniques and CAD systems. You will be taking on the critical task of ensuring designs are robust and manufacturable, working on anything from small-scale precision electro-mechanical devices through to factory scale automated manufacturing equipment. While speed is important (in both design and manufacture) the key goal is to produce stable and reliable designs.
Requirements:
A background in medical devices, life science instruments, consumer products, automotive, or aerospace would be valuable, but is not required.
