Job description

TXM Recruit is partnering with a private property management company that delivers a dedicated VIP service to worldwide clientele. We are looking for an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to join their team in Southall.

Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 + overtime.
Hours: 40 hours per week (8am‑4pm or 9am‑5pm) with flexibility during peak summer months.
Overtime: 1.5x over 40 hours, unlimited. Extras: one weekend call‑out rota (May‑October).
Location: Southall.

Responsibilities

• Operation & maintenance of H&V plant, including pumps, motors, actuators etc.
• Daily boiler room & plant checks.
• Maintain commercial kitchen plant & equipment.
• Carry out works on LV electrical installations, including installation, fault finding & general maintenance.
• Undertake scheduled installations & maintenance on the above.
• Fault finding, diagnosis & carrying out repair or replacement of equipment.
• Manage stock & supplies of equipment, source materials from local suppliers and manufacturers.

Qualifications

• BEng or Level 2 diploma particularly in mechanical, production or electrical engineering.
• 18th Edition IEE wiring Requirements.
• Knowledge of current Building Regulations.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
