Exciting Opportunity for Pipe welders

We are seeking highly skilled MCAW / FCAW Pipe welders to join a dynamic team based at Thirsk. This role offers the chance to work in a fast‑paced environment while showcasing exceptional welding skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high‑precision pipe welding in 6G positions on carbon and alloy steels.
  • Work from detailed Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and engineering drawings.
  • Deliver consistent, high‑integrity welds that meet or exceed industry standards.
  • Participate in inspections and maintain accurate records, including weld traceability.
  • Carry out repairs or modifications while ensuring weld quality and reliability.
Experience / Qualifications
  • Solid experience in pipe welding, ideally in oil & gas or marine environments.
  • Experience in 6G positional welding, supported by a portfolio of first‑class work.
  • Strong knowledge of fabrication drawings, isometrics, and weld symbols.
  • Deep understanding of high‑quality assurance standards, including ISO 9606 or similar codes.
