Overview

Are you a dedicated and experienced educator with a passion for helping young minds thrive? We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a tutor in Bolton. You will make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable, disengaged and at-risk young people. The tutor must be able to create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in KS3 or KS4 education and to boost engagement and attainment levels.

About the role

Prospero’s mission is to raise the standard of support for vulnerable young people across the UK. We are seeking a passionate, creative and holistic Maths tutor to provide academic support and guidance to students in one-on-one or small-group settings, improving their educational journey.

Experience, Training and Qualifications
  • QTS or equivalent or tutoring experience
  • Possess UK classroom teaching experience preferred but not essential
  • Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
  • Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils
Eligibility to Work
  • Hold the right to work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child-related references
