Maths & Science Teacher - South Stafford - January Start

Do you enjoy teaching mixed subjects and thrive in a Key Stage 3 environment?

Academics are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a middle school in the South Stafford area who are seeking a confident, adaptable Teacher to deliver Maths & Science across KS3 from January 2026. This position is expected to run for the Spring Term, with a possibility for extension for the right candidate.

The Role

• Teach engaging and well-structured KS3 Maths & Science lessons.
• Plan, prepare and assess in line with school policies.
• Contribute to a strong, collaborative department.
• Build positive relationships with students and support their progress.
• Candidates will be invited to teach a short lesson observation.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) - essential and required by the school.
• Confident teaching both Maths and Science at KS3 level.
• Strong classroom management and subject knowledge.
• A flexible, proactive teaching style.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply).
