Description

We are currently looking for a Materials Handler / Assembly Operative to start work in January 2026 on eventually a 1400-2200 Mon-Fri shift for our client based on the outskirts of Maidstone.

However whilst being trained you would be on the 0600-1400 shift

Rate of Pay will be £13.13 per hour on 0600-1400 & £13.79 per hour on the 1400-2200 (all shifts Mon-Fri)

(Long term ongoing temp work - Subject to work load / productivity and suitability to the role).

Due to the nature of the role there will be heavy manual handling upto 15kg of material bags to unload into machines - you would be having to climb steps to do this. There will be the requirement to read barcodes as this will determine the colour of the materials putting in the machine that can produce hundreds of products.

Experience of production / injection moulding / Setting or Materials handling and light assembly work is preferred but is not essential, and you must be reliable and committed. The role is quite involved but can be repetitive.

Due to the nature of the role must be able to work to deadlines & be accurate with all duties.

Majority of the everyday tasks will involve standing up / walking & manual handling there will also be production / assembly tasks for plastic components.

Start will be ASAP in January 2026 - With Induction

Own Transport is essential due to shift timings & location . There is plenty of parking on site.
