Job summary

Norwich City Football Club is seeking proactive Matchday/Events Safety Stewards to join the Operations team for home games and events. You will be the friendly, safety-minded face for fans, providing information and guiding guests in a busy stadium environment.

Must be 18+ and prepared to work on matchdays with DBS checks and NVQ development supported by the club. The role focuses on safeguarding, crowd management, and delivering excellent service while enforcing stadium regulations.

• Demonstrated ability to manage crowds and assist with safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Promote safer working practices and safeguarding as a shared responsibility
• Provide outstanding customer service as a club representative
• Give accurate venue information and be knowledgeable about your area
• Investigate and report crowd problems and assist with crowd management
• Carry out pre-event checks and attend briefings
• Monitor and direct crowds and queues; issue instructions when needed
• Check tickets and welcome visitors; enforce stadium regulations
• Respond to incidents and, if required, write follow-up reports
• Maintain a clean, safe working area and stand in designated positions
