Job summary

A leading automotive component manufacturer in Minworth is seeking a planner/scheduler to create production plans and schedules. The role requires maintaining BOMs and production orders through SAP. Candidates should have experience in a similar role within manufacturing or have a Logistics/Supply Chain background. Qualifications

  • Logistics and Supply Chain graduates with experience in SAP are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Create production plans, manage MRP runs, and convert plans to production orders.
  • Develop detailed weekly and daily schedules, monitor capacity, and adjust as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate BOMs, Work Centers, Routings, and Production Versions within SAP.
  • Release, track, and close production orders, ensuring data accuracy.

Job description

Planning: Create production plans, manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP) runs, and convert planned orders into production orders.

Scheduling: Develop detailed weekly/daily schedules, monitor capacity, and adjust for bottlenecks or delays.

Data Management: Maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs), Work Centers, Routings, and Production Versions within SAP.

Execution Monitoring: Release, track, and close production orders, ensuring data accuracy and timely completion.

Coordination: Liaise with production manager, procurement, and sales to address material shortages or capacity issues.

  • Experience in a planning/scheduling role in a manufacturing environment would of course be great, but we're also open to Logistics and Supply chain graduates with SAP PP module (BOMs, Routings, MRP, Capacity Planning, Orders), and some kind of work experience.
