A leading automotive component manufacturer in Minworth is seeking a planner/scheduler to create production plans and schedules. The role requires maintaining BOMs and production orders through SAP. Candidates should have experience in a similar role within manufacturing or have a Logistics/Supply Chain background. Planning: Create production plans, manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP) runs, and convert planned orders into production orders.
Scheduling: Develop detailed weekly/daily schedules, monitor capacity, and adjust for bottlenecks or delays.
Data Management: Maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs), Work Centers, Routings, and Production Versions within SAP.
Execution Monitoring: Release, track, and close production orders, ensuring data accuracy and timely completion.
Coordination: Liaise with production manager, procurement, and sales to address material shortages or capacity issues.
