This role supports the delivery of the University’s marketing campaigns and activity as part of an in‑house creative agency, marketing the university externally to a variety of audiences.

Job Description

To support the delivery of the University’s marketing campaigns and activity by being an integral part of an in‑house creative agency that is responsible for marketing the university externally to a variety of audiences.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Support the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns that are distinctive, rich in storytelling and effective at presenting BNU to prospective students.
  • Assist in managing the day‑to‑day production and delivery of multi‑channel marketing activity that resonates with target audiences, including digital advertising, content marketing, events, and collateral, ensuring process discipline and excellence, as well as consistency with the brand platform and brand guidelines.
  • Act as a collaborative and proactive marketing partner to internal clients, academics and other university departments that require marketing materials and support, managing the project from briefing stage to agreeing the approach to execution and measurement.
  • Work closely with the Digital team on executing Google ads and paid social to ensure our marketing communications resonate with the needs and wants of prospective students.
  • Audit and update course content on BNU and external websites and update email and newsletter content.
  • Champion brand consistency across paid, earned and owned touchpoints, ensuring excellence and accuracy.
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis and market research that will help the team anticipate new trends, opportunities and risks.
  • Keep the Marketing team status document up to date, attend team status meetings and share responsibility for delivering projects on time and on brief.
  • Build strong working relationships with all key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Comply with relevant legislative and other requirements (e.g., the Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR; Health and Safety; UKVI; and Equality and Diversity) in all working practices.
  • Perform other duties temporarily or on a continuing basis, as may reasonably be required.

Recognised marketing accreditation (A)

Knowledge & Experience

Proven experience of working effectively within a Marketing team (A/I)

Track record of delivering integrated marketing campaigns, including those with a focus on recruitment or acquisition, with measurable impact. (A/I)

Proven experience of managing digital campaigns across Google Ads and paid social (A/I)

Knowledge of the process of content creation, especially around updating website page copy, including taking a clear brief, making changes, reviews and approvals. (A/I)

Digitally able and proficient in Microsoft tools (A/I)
