The role

We’re looking for a creative mid-level Marketing Copywriter who can craft clear, engaging, compliant, and conversion-focused copy across a wide range of digital channels.

This role is ideal for someone who can take ownership of projects quickly, proactively contribute new ideas and approaches, and support the Marketing Content & UX Writing Lead in keeping the team running efficiently. Experience with AI writing tools and a positive approach to leveraging AI in content creation is highly valued.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Collaborate with teams like Creative Commercial, Paid, CRM, Organic Growth and Product to create content that meets business goals and genuinely enhances the patient experience.
  • Help shape clear, well-defined briefs so every project starts and finishes strong.
  • Partner with Legal, Patient Care, and Medical teams to ensure all content is safe, accurate, and high quality.
What you'll own
  • Writing clear, concise copy designed to convert for website pages, landing pages, emails, SMS, social, ads, and CRM campaigns.
  • Championing brand messaging and tone of voice across ZAVA and our partner services, so messaging remains consistent, compliant, and genuinely helpful throughout the patient journey, from first interaction to follow-up.
  • Collaborating with Content, Creative, Commercial, Paid, CRM, Legal and Medical teams to deliver high-quality content.
  • Revisiting and improving existing copy to enhance clarity, performance, and user experience.
  • Supporting campaign development with strong messaging and creative concepts.
  • Conducting light research to ensure accuracy and relevance in all content.
  • Contributing to A/B tests and performance analysis to optimise messaging.
What you'll bring to the role
  • Circa 3-5+ years of experience as a marketing copywriter or content writer.
  • A portfolio showcasing digital copy across multiple formats.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt tone and messaging for different audiences, channels, locales, and objectives.
  • Understanding of performance-driven content principles.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, CMS platforms, Jira, Figma, or openness to learn quickly.
  • Experience with AI writing tools and leveraging AI in content creation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams while managing deadlines and priorities.
  • A proactive mindset, openness to feedback, and a genuine enthusiasm for good communication and collaboration.
Nice to have, but not at all essential
  • Experience writing in a healthcare, regulated, or D2C environment.
  • Familiarity with UX writing, microcopy, and user-journey optimisation.
  • Knowledge of localisation best practices.
