MEGA NI LTD is seeking a Marketing and Administration Assistant to support our growing organisation. This part‑time role is ideal for someone with existing marketing experience who is looking to re‑enter the workplace and contribute to a dynamic and supportive team. The successful candidate will assist with the coordination of marketing campaigns, digital communications, and general administrative duties. Working closely with the Project Director, the role provides the opportunity to apply creative and organisational skills while supporting MEGA’s projects, events, and stakeholder engagement activities. MEGA is committed to offering flexible working arrangements to suit the needs of the participant. The position can be carried out remotely from home or office‑based within one of our Mid Ulster member companies, providing flexibility while ensuring access to appropriate supervision, support, and collaboration opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Help plan and deliver marketing activities, create and schedule digital content, and support internal and external communications.
  • Updating social media channels and websites.
  • Preparing promotional materials and assisting with newsletters.
  • Liaising with stakeholders, partners and suppliers.
  • Conducting basic market research.
  • Managing enquiries and drafting correspondence.
  • Maintaining records and supporting day‑to‑day office operations.
  • Organising meetings and events.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in marketing, communications, or a related role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organisational ability and attention to detail.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Confidence in using social media platforms for business purposes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
  • Experience using digital content tools such as Canva, ChatGPT, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of event coordination or stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience updating websites or using content management systems.

JobStart Opportunity – Working Hours Information – Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week – Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach – Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
