A leading financial markets bank in London seeks a Market Risk Manager. You will be responsible for primary risk control and reporting of FX, Rates, and Credit trading asset classes, ensuring adherence to risk policies. The ideal candidate has experience in market risk control within Emerging Markets and excellent communication skills. The role offers hybrid working options and competitive compensation.
This role is part of the Market and Liquidity Risk department which is responsible for identifying, measuring, challenging and reporting all Market and Liquidity risk exposures taken by the bank to ensure the firm trades within its risk appetite framework.
The department is a second Line of Defence (2LoD) independent control function under the "Three Lines of Defence" risk governance model. The department resides under the Quantitative Risk (QR) Division which reports to the CRO of the bank.
This role is responsible for primary risk control and reporting of all FX, Rates and Credit trading asset classes in the FIC business. The role risk control coverage will be across Local and Treasury markets and Structured Solutions businesses.
The role will liaise and coordinate with trading and Finance, other Risk departments, Treasury and Capital Management, Compliance and Audit departments to ensure consistent adherence to risk policies relating to trading and banking book products by the Front Office.
