Job summary

Mountville Mills, Inc. is seeking a Product & Process Improvement Engineer to join the manufacturing team in Rochdale. You will lead capital and improvement projects aimed at reducing waste, energy use, and costs while boosting quality and reliability across processes.

The role requires a degree in engineering, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate across all levels. You will work with maintenance and production teams to implement innovative improvements and ensure safety

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical preferred).
• Experience in manufacturing with Lean/CI and data-driven improvements.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital and improvement projects in manufacturing processes.
• Review processes/equipment for efficiency and performance.
• Troubleshoot production issues with operations team.
• Interpret data from technical and operations staff.
• Develop trials, simulations, and report results.
• Improve product margins via quality and material evaluation.
• Manage contractors for designated projects with safety focus.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production across site.
