Job summary

The role focuses on leading capital and improvement projects to reduce waste, energy use, and costs while improving quality, efficiency, reliability, and process safety. You will apply Lean and Continuous Improvement principles, troubleshoot production problems with the operations team, and interpret data from both technical and operational staff to drive productivity and

Qualifications

• Degree-level engineering qualification.
• Experience in manufacturing environment using improvement methodologies.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Utilise Lean and Continuous Improvement to review processes and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with operations to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
• Interpret data from technical and operational staff.
• Optimise processes for productivity, sustainability and efficiency.
• Create and manage process development trials and report results.
• Improve product margin through quality improvements and material evaluations.
• Select, manage and control contractors for designated projects with zero tolerance for EHS incidents.
• Coordinate with other engineers, maintenance and production teams.
