Job summary
Vibe Recruit is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer with a strong background in manufacturing processes, continuous improvement, process optimisation and project delivery within a precision engineering/fabrication environment. You will drive operational efficiency, improve production methods, and support new product introductions.
You will evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies and automation solutions, work with Production, QA and Procurement, and develop comprehensive
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Strong production and project engineering skills spanning concept to implementation.
- Experience designing tooling, jigs, fixtures and writing engineering specifications.
Responsibilities
- Process Development, Design & Change Implementation to improve standard times and repeatability.
- Identify and implement new manufacturing technologies and automation solutions.
- Develop project plans for process improvements, NPI, and technology deployment.
- Define specifications for production tooling and fixtures.
- Validate processes to meet quality and production targets; mitigate risks.
- Drive sustainability by reducing waste and improving energy efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, QA and Procurement.
- Document processes and provide training for adoption.
