Job summary

Cameron Clarke Associates t/a talent-finder is seeking a Production Engineer to implement lean manufacturing processes at our Rochdale site. The role combines hands-on work with IT tasks, including updating documentation and coordinating with SHEQ to meet safety, health, environmental and quality standards.

You will identify waste, assess production processes and lead improvement projects from start to finish, while maintaining strong ERP records and BOM accuracy.

Qualifications

• Proven engineering experience.
• Solid understanding of lean principles.
• Proficient with Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Excellent time management.
• Organised and able to work on own initiative.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement lean methodologies across the factory.
• Identify processes for improvement and lead projects.
• Provide internal lean training.
• Maintain documentation.
• Ensure BOMs are accurate and parts available.
• Interface between design dept and shop floor.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Conduct supplier audits with SHEQ.
• Maintain ERP data.
• Meet tight deadlines.
