Job summary

Dunphy Combustion Ltd in Rochdale is seeking a Production Engineer to drive lean manufacturing improvements across the plant and related areas. You will identify waste, assess production processes and lead improvement projects from start to finish, combining hands-on work with IT tasks, including ERP data management and coordination with SHEQ, design teams and suppliers.

Qualifications

Proven engineering experience is required.
Solid understanding of lean principles and their practical application.
Strong time management and organisational skills are essential.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Familiarity with common office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) is expected.

Responsibilities

Implement lean methodologies across the factory and maintain their use.
Identify production processes for improvement and manage projects through to completion.
Provide internal lean training to staff.
Maintain and update documentation and BOMs as required.
Coordinate with SHEQ to implement safety, health, environmental and quality standards.
Ensure ERP data is accurate and up-to-date.
