Job summary

Cameron Clarke Associates is recruiting a Production Engineer for our Rochdale site to drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement. You will implement waste reduction, streamline processes and coordinate IT-based tasks including documentation.

You will collaborate with SHEQ to uphold safety, health, environmental and quality standards. The role combines hands-on work with ERP and documentation duties, plus liaison with suppliers and the design team to ensure BOM accuracy and timely

Qualifications

• Proven engineering experience.
• Solid understanding of lean principles.
• Good knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Excellent time management skills.
• An organised approach and the ability to work on your own initiative.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement lean methodologies across the factory.
• Identify production processes for improvement and manage projects to completion.
• Provide internal lean training.
• Maintain and manage documentation.
• Assist the production department to ensure BOMs in ERP are accurate.
• Interface between design department and shop floor.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure products are supplied correctly.
• Conduct supplier audits with the SHEQ department.
• Maintain accurate information on the ERP system.
• Work to tight deadlines.
