The Role

Experienced Manufacturing Plant Manager to take full responsibility for a high-volume manufacturing site in Clydebank Glasgow. This is a career-defining opportunity for a proven leader to drive operational excellence and lead a workforce of 180 staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead plant operations ensuring Safety Quality Delivery and Cost (SQDC) standards are consistently achieved.
  • Drive lean initiatives waste reduction and efficiency improvements across all processes.
  • Motivate mentor and develop the site team creating a culture of accountability and engagement.
  • Oversee a workforce of 180 with a strong presence on the shop floor.
  • Monitor budgets costs and resources with full operational KPI ownership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering quality logistics HR finance) to streamline operations.
  • Manage relationships with unions / works councils and ensure effective communication.
  • Represent the site in regional initiatives sharing best practice and contributing to wider improvement programs.
