Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Operative to join a dynamic team in Radstock. The role involves operating manufacturing equipment, conducting quality inspections, and collaborating with colleagues to meet production goals. This position offers a fixed-term contract for 6 months with a pay rate of £12.58 per hour.

JOB : Manufacturing Operative

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operative to join our clients dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that all products meet quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. Duties
  • Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and quality output. Follow basic production plans / instructions.
  • Conduct regular inspections of products and machinery to identify any defects or malfunctions.
  • Assist in the assembly of products, following detailed instructions and specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to manufacturing processes.
Experience
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous but not essential.
  • Familiarity with operating machinery or tools used in manufacturing is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
