Job summary

A leading UK defence engineering manufacturer is seeking a Manufacturing Facilities Engineer to enhance its facilities and infrastructure at the North West Engineering Centre. This role demands hands-on expertise in capital projects, health and safety regulations, and strategic maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess a HND/HNC in relevant engineering fields and exemplary communication skills. Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of PUWER, LOTO, and general HSE regulations.
  • Proven experience delivering CAPEX projects and facility improvement initiatives.
  • Hands‑on experience with CMMS systems and safe contractor management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a three-year rolling facilities plan aligned with business strategy.
  • Lead capital investment and improvement projects, including justification and execution.
  • Manage vendor and contractor relationships, ensuring compliance and performance.
