Job summary

THG Ingenuity Ltd. in Manchester is seeking an On-Site Staff Technology Engineer to provide L1–L2 support for a mixed Dell/Windows and macOS environment.

You will handle device enrollment, VIP desk-side assistance, and administration across Entra and Microsoft 365. You will resolve hardware/software issues, assist with networking, and maintain assets and documentation while collaborating with THG teams globally.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years’ experience in an end-user IT support role.
• Basic administration experience in Entra, Microsoft 365 & Intune.
• Experience supporting end users with multi-factor authentication.
• Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP & Wi‑Fi.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems & the Microsoft 365 suite.
• Good macOS knowledge & experience.
• Experience with SAML &/or other authentication protocols.
• Experience with Jamf Pro or other macOS/iOS device management tools.
• Experience supporting meeting room & AV equipment.
• Experience supporting VIP or executive users.
• Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) tools & asset management processes.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day on-site IT support across Dell/Windows & macOS devices.
• Desk-side and VIP/executive support when needed.
• Support for Microsoft 365 apps and basic networking issues.
• Platform administration in Entra & Microsoft 365.
• Troubleshooting MFA issues and authentication protocols.
• Printing and asset management support.
• Maintain accurate IT system documentation.
