BearingPoint is looking for a Manager to join BearingPoint Capital, its global M&A advisory team in London, to work on Commercial Due Diligence (CDD) and wider strategic engagements.

Why Join Us?

As part of BearingPoint Capital, you’ll fast-track your career within a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment, working on high-impact M&A and strategy projects for top-tier clients, including leading Private Equity firms, family offices, corporates, and strategic investors.

Our services include M&A Strategy & Execution, as well as Commercial and Technology Due Diligence, focused on companies where growth, market positioning, and competitive advantage are central to the investment thesis. You’ll join a small, senior-led team that values work-life balance, intellectual rigour, and pragmatic impact—supporting clients on both local and international transactions across a range of industries.

About BearingPoint Capital

BearingPoint Capital is an independent business unit of the global management consultancy BearingPoint. We deliver end-to-end M&A advisory services, including commercial and technology due diligence, M&A strategy, and portfolio management. We also manage BearingPoint’s corporate portfolio and strategic venture investments.

Our team is tightly integrated with BearingPoint’s global consulting network—over 6,000 professionals across 75+ countries—providing access to deep industry expertise and operational capabilities.

In This Role, You Will Be Involved In:
  • Leading and delivering Commercial Due Diligence engagements for buy-side and sell-side clients
  • Assessing market size and growth, customer and competitor dynamics, business models, and key value levers
  • Providing investors with clear, insight-driven recommendations on target company positioning and commercial viability
  • Managing client relationships, often directly with deal team principals and C-level stakeholders
  • Supporting deal origination efforts, including proposal development and go-to-market initiatives
  • Playing a pivotal role in building the CDD team within BearingPoint Capital UK
  • Developing junior team members through coaching and project-based mentorship
  • Working closely with colleagues across Europe to support clients across diverse industries
  • Contributing to the development and execution of BearingPoint’s M&A growth strategy
We’re Looking For Individuals Who Can Demonstrate:
  • Strong experience in an M&A advisory or strategy consulting role
  • Proven track record of leading Commercial Due Diligence or strategy projects, preferably for Private Equity clients
  • Excellent commercial acumen and analytical thinking, with comfort interpreting market, financial, and operational data
  • Experience working with investment theses and transaction-critical questions
  • Confidence engaging with senior client stakeholders (e.g. CxOs, deal principals)
  • Ability to lead projects and deliver under tight timelines in high-pressure deal environments
  • Strong communication skills with a proven ability to create and present high-quality client deliverables
  • Experience in technology, healthcare, industrials, or business services sectors is a plus
  • An MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage
  • Candidates must have the right to work in the UK
What We Offer:
  • Rapid career development in a high-growth team
  • Exposure to both advisory and firmwide investment strategy, including venture activity
  • Collaboration with top-tier clients across the European M&A landscape
  • A flat, supportive, and collaborative team culture
  • Flexible working model and a strong focus on work-life balance
  • Highly competitive compensation with a market-leading bonus structure
