Position Overview:

Saic General Hospital Limited is seeking an experienced Manager/Assistant Manager - Accounts to lead and control the organization's accounting and financial operations in line with limited company policies and statutory requirements. The role is responsible for financial planning and budgeting, preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, costing analysis, and monitoring timely bank deposits and cash flows. The position ensures full compliance with VAT, tax, and legal reporting, and coordinates with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities while maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of financial information.

Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for managing all account-related activities, including maintaining accurate books of accounts, preparing accounting documentation, ensuring timely reporting, performing account reconciliations, monitoring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and overseeing all accounting transactions.
  • Prepare and review hospital financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual).
  • Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and journal entries in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Manage month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
  • Oversee IPD/OPD billing processes to ensure accuracy and timely invoicing.
  • Reconcile receivables and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts for the hospital.
  • Analyze cost centers, revenue streams, and operating expenses to support efficiency and control.
  • Support departmental budgeting and variance analysis.
  • Ensure timely processing of vendor bills, purchase orders, and contract payments.
  • Maintain proper documentation and coordinate with procurement and stores departments.
  • Prepare documentation and assist with statutory, internal audits.
  • Coordinate with auditors and external consultants as required.
  • Monitor daily collections and disbursements.
  • Assist in managing bank accounts, fund transfers, and short‑term investments.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and fund utilization reports.
  • Any others task assigned by Management.
