Job Description:

Management Accountant - London, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

Our Business Support teams deliver vital services to ensure the success of our business divisions, including HR, Finance, Procurement, Marketing, Legal, Commercial, Estates, Facilities, Core Technology, Security, IT, and Fleet. Every team member contributes to the lasting impact of our team and helps keep the nation's critical digital infrastructure connected and protected.

This role involves working closely with business and senior finance stakeholders to support financial forecasting, delivering accurate reporting, and providing analysis of financial results to support decision-making. It is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate with senior finance teams to provide clear analysis for effective decision-making.
• Assist with developing financial forecasts and report on progress across cash, P&L, and balance sheet.
• Prepare historic analysis by project, including month-end results, KPIs, and comparisons of actuals to forecasts.
• Manage 2 direct reports.
• Conduct area reviews for projects, working with operations to ensure accurate reporting and financial scrutiny.

Who you are:

A detail-oriented, organized, customer-focused individual.

Key Requirements:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA part qualified.
• Experience in a business-facing finance role.
• Good communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, or other large ERP systems.
