Management Accountant - Telford, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

Our Business Support teams deliver vital services to ensure the continued success of our business divisions, including HR, Finance, Procurement, Marketing, Legal and Commercial, Estates and Facilities, Core Technology, Corporate Security, IT, and Fleet. This role involves working closely with the business and senior finance stakeholders to support the development of financial forecasts, delivering timely and accurate reporting, and providing analysis of financial results to support decision-making. It also includes assisting senior finance leaders in driving actions to meet financial targets. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

What you’ll do:

1. Collaborate with the senior finance team to provide analysis for effective decision-making.
2. Assist in developing forecasts, and report on progress across cash, P&L, and balance sheet.
3. Prepare historic analysis by project, including month-end results, KPIs, and comparisons of actuals to forecasts/budgets.
4. Manage two direct reports.
5. Conduct area reviews for projects, working with operations to ensure accurate reporting and financial scrutiny.

Key Requirements:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA part-qualified
• Experience in a business-facing finance role
• Good communication skills
• Proficient in Excel
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, or other ERP systems
