Job description

We are supporting an exciting, fast-growing business in Bristol in the search for a talented Management Accountant. This role offers the chance to play a key part in the finance function of a scaling company with a strong culture and ambitious growth plans.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making across the business. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure robust financial management and provide insight that drives performance.

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and board reporting packs
• Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and P&L analysis
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow planning
• Providing commercial analysis and commentary to support decision-making
• Improving financial processes, systems, and controls in a scaling environment
• Supporting external audit, tax compliance, and other statutory requirements

About You

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or finalist with relevant experience
• Strong background in management accounting and financial reporting
• Commercially minded with excellent analytical skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, growing SME environment
• Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships across the business
