Job summary

A leading medical technology company is seeking a Mako Field Service Technician in Scotland. In this role, you will provide on-site technical support, perform installations, and undertake repairs of Mako robotic systems. The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft applications, while demonstrating leadership and problem-solving abilities. This position involves significant travel (80%).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiarity with robotics or complex capital equipment preferred.
• Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support and customer service.
• Install, repair, maintain, and test Mako robotic systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in the field.
• Document service activities and complete detailed service reports.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
