Job summary

Serco Limited, on behalf of Leisure Solutions Community Trust (LSCT), is recruiting a Maintenance Technician for Ferry Leisure Centre, Oxford. You will maintain mechanical and electrical building services, perform reactive repairs, and support planned preventive maintenance to keep facilities safe and welcoming.

The role is permanent, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, at Oxford, with a salary of £29,325.22 plus excellent benefits and opportunities for training and progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar maintenance or building services environment.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to solve problems and work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive repairs, fault finding, servicing, commissioning, and maintenance across a wide range of plant and equipment.
• Complete planned preventive maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably.
• Work in line with all health and safety policies, procedures, and best practice guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding faults, defects, and spare parts requirements.
• Take a proactive approach to improving working practices and safety systems.
• Support operational needs, including participating in the on-call rota and attending training as required.
