Serco Limited is seeking a Maintenance Operative in Blackburn to perform planned and reactive repairs across joinery, plumbing, painting, and decorating. The role requires a full UK driving licence, and vehicle and tools are provided.

You will maintain safety standards and work within SLA deadlines, covering 37.5 hours per week with flexible on-call duties. The position offers a full-time contract with a competitive salary and Serco benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance tasks across joinery, plumbing, painting & decorating.
• Willingness to travel within the region and occasionally within the UK.
• Strong focus on health & safety and SLA adherence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and proactive repairs to required standards.
• Meet SLA deadlines and manage workflow efficiently.
• Purchase and manage materials using company account cards.
