Job summary

Serco, recruiting on behalf of Leisure Solutions Community Trust (LSCT), seeks a Facility Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of a busy leisure facility in Oxford. You will ensure safe, welcoming and high-performing services while supporting growth and excellent customer experiences.

Working with the General Manager, you’ll coach Duty Managers, drive continuous improvement using performance data, and help create healthier, happier futures for the community.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management or leisure operations.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Comfort with using operational data to make decisions.
• Committed to delivering excellent customer experiences.
• Confident swimmer.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, compliant operation of the facility.
• Support the General Manager in delivering plans and growth.
• Coach and develop Duty Managers and departmental leaders.
• Drive customer service and build trust with the community.
• Use performance data to identify improvements and innovations.
• Oversee facility readiness and emergency response when required.
