Job summary

Serco is seeking a Maintenance Operative based in Liverpool to perform reactive and pre-planned repairs across joinery, plumbing, painting and decorating. You will manage your own workflow while supporting the team, with a focus on completing work to the required standards and SLA deadlines.

You will hold a valid UK driving licence, have maintenance experience in relevant trades, and be willing to travel within the region and occasionally across the UK.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in joinery, fitting, plumbing, painting & decorating.
• Willingness to travel within the region and occasional UK travel.
• Valid UK driving licence held.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and proactive repairs to required standard within SLA deadlines.
• Purchase and manage materials using company account card.
• Ensure Health & Safety of yourself and users during and after works.
• Cover Liverpool region with occasional on-call duties (rota every 8–10 weeks).
