Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Building Maintenance Technician for a supplier of wet paint, powder coatings and metal pretreatment products to a variety of Market areas. An exciting opportunity at a rapidly growing company in Redditch. Possible permanent position after a successful trial period.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and repair building's production equipment systems
• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic systems, pumps, mixers and filling lines.
• Complete building and site maintenance checks, including fire safety systems, emergency lighting and compressors.
• Liaise with external contractors and suppliers.
• Use CMM software to log maintenance work and plan tasks.
• Create maintenance plan for the organisation's equipment.

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician
• Knowledge of general maintenance
• Working knowledge of tools
• Problem solving skills
• Manual Dexterity and physical strength to handle tools, carry out repairs and installations.
