Job summary

Mears Group's MPS division in Norwich is seeking an organised Planner to join the repairs team. You will schedule and allocate repairs, coordinate operatives and subcontractors, and act as the main point of contact for residents.

The role requires strong IT skills, experience in fast-paced repairs environments, and a customer‑focused approach to keep service delivery high. This full‑time position offers 42.5 hours, competitive benefits, and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning or scheduling repairs and maintenance
• GCSE English and Maths
• Strong IT and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Schedule and plan repair works to optimize use of operatives and resources
• Use the MCM system to manage appointments, update job statuses and monitor progress
• Track overdue tasks and support the team in meeting KPIs
• Coordinate operatives and subcontractors to ensure timely completion
• Communicate with residents to provide updates and manage expectations
• Maintain accurate records across IT systems
• Deliver a professional, customer-focused service at all times
