A leading healthcare organization in the UK is seeking an Operational Estates Officer to manage the site maintenance team. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in estates management, preferably in healthcare. Responsibilities include leading activities, monitoring staff, and financial management. The role offers 27 days of annual leave, NHS discounts, and a pension scheme.
Lead & co-ordinate the day to day activities of the site environment team's maintenance service, so as to deliver a robust, technically strong customer responsive service which complies with relevant statutory directives.
Also to monitor and guide the staff within your team, and be responsible for external contractors completing their tasks and objectives safely and effectively.

We are looking for someone who has a strong track record of managing and delivering a customer focused Estates service at a similar level in a highly complex environment, preferably in healthcare.
We need Estates Officers who will lead a team, where the quality of service, a safe patient and staff environment, strong financial management and statutory compliance are the key drivers within all areas of the service. This is a key role within our operational team, and we are keen to recruit motivated individuals who will help us to provide the levels of service that we continually strive to provide to our patients and clinical colleagues.
As a senior manager the post holder will assist in the production and delivery of the organisation's estates operational plans and will provide operational support in the delivery of capital projects. They will provide line management accountability for associated staff and will ensure appropriate financial, workforce and performance management arrangements are in place.
