Lead & co-ordinate the day to day activities of the site environment team's maintenance service, so as to deliver a robust, technically strong customer responsive service which complies with relevant statutory directives.

Also to monitor and guide the staff within your team, and be responsible for external contractors completing their tasks and objectives safely and effectively.

Then look no further - we are looking for bright and ambitious Operational Estates Officer to join our great team at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for someone who has a strong track record of managing and delivering a customer focused Estates service at a similar level in a highly complex environment, preferably in healthcare.

We need Estates Officers who will lead a team, where the quality of service, a safe patient and staff environment, strong financial management and statutory compliance are the key drivers within all areas of the service. This is a key role within our operational team, and we are keen to recruit motivated individuals who will help us to provide the levels of service that we continually strive to provide to our patients and clinical colleagues.

As a senior manager the post holder will assist in the production and delivery of the organisation's estates operational plans and will provide operational support in the delivery of capital projects. They will provide line management accountability for associated staff and will ensure appropriate financial, workforce and performance management arrangements are in place.
