ROLE: Maintenance Manager

HOURS: 40 per week, Monday-Friday

SALARY: c£55,000 plus benefits

BASE: Site Based - Eurocell Recycle, Ilkeston, Derbyshire

We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager, to lead and manage all maintenance activities within the production facilities based at our Recycling site in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.

This is a pivotal role within the department, with oversight of maintenance planning, leading a skilled technical team, and implementing strategies that reduce downtime and extend equipment life.

What Our Maintenance Managers Do
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all maintenance activities to ensure maximum equipment uptime and support continuous production operations
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, equipment history, and spare parts inventory
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget
  • Ensure all Maintenance personnel are properly trained in safe work practices and emergency response protocols
  • Work closely with the SHE teams to embed best safety practice and escalate issues as they arise
  • Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor work quality to meet production and maintenance goals
  • Lead by example in promoting a safe, respectful, and productive work environment
What We Need From Our Maintenance Managers
  • Recognised Electrical / Mechanical maintenance apprenticeship / training scheme Level 3
  • Significant Electrical and Mechanical experience gained in a manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience in leading a team of skilled Engineers
  • Understand and interpret Electrical and Mechanical Schematic circuit drawings
  • Driving licence as may be required to assist on other sites
